COCOA
Spices
Cocoa originates from tropical America, in the wild, ranging from Peru to Mexico. Denominated Theobroma cacao of the family Esterculiáceas, the cacao was considered like sacred by the Aztec and Maia Indians.
 

 
PIAÇAVA COCONUT
Spices
The main use of piaçava coconut is for the manufacture of the Masbaha/Islamic Third, in Egypt and Turkey. It is also used for the manufacture of handicrafts, earrings, buttons, as well as being an alternative source of energy.
 

 
CLOVES
Spices
The clove is a tree native to the Moluccas Islands, Indonesia, whose scientific name is Syzygium aromaticu, belonging to the family Myrtaceae. Earliest reference about the cloves appeared in Chinese writings during the Han dynasty.
 

 
GUARANA
Spices
The guarana tree, variety sorbilis (Martius) Ducke (Sapindaceae) whose scientific name is the Paullinia cupana, originating in the Amazon, produces the fruit called guarana. The fruit is rich in caffeine (called guaiac).
 

 
KOLA NUT

Originating in tropical Africa, kola nut is produced mainly in Nigeria and Ivory Coast. This high tree produces fruit, the nuts (or kola), which are characterized by being very bitter.

Black pepper (Piper nigrum L.) is a climbing plant native to India and introduced in Brazil in the seventeenth century by the Japanese. It is the most important spice marketed worldwide and is widely used as a condiment.
 

 
Jamaican Pepper

Spice of the Myrtaceae family originating in West India and Latin America. Its flavor is highly appreciated and reminiscent of the combination of cinnamon, nutmeg and clove.
 

 
Urucum
Spices
